Veterans Don't Want to Retire - They Want to Serve

Transitioning out of the military can be a mixed bag of emotions. There is excitement, of course, to be starting a new phase of life. Veterans can finally do all the things that they have dreamed about doing, and deferred doing, while they were serving their country. But it can also be a scary time. They are going to be on their own — no more orders.

The military does everything it possibly can to set you up for success within your service, but we are given only a very, very general idea of how to transition out of it and back to civilian life.

At US VetLife, we provide a network of like-minded businesses and non-profits to help post-military families live a civilian life of intention. It's about military families helping one another - because who understands our needs better than ourselves?

“Our job in this lifetime is not to shape ourselves into some ideal we imagine we ought to be, but to find out who we already are and become it.” - Steven Pressfield
